Mission Statement
King In You (KIY) is an organization of college Men who come together in coalition to improve in the areas of professional development, self-esteem, scholarship, service, and activism. We strive to make improvements within our surrounding area through ways of community service, full-body meetings, fundraising, and social events. King In You is founded upon the principle: "Empowered Men, Empowering the Next Generation of Gentlemen .“
Brief History
King In You was founded by Zay’ Kori Jones on October 19th, 2023 on the campus of Norfolk State University. This organization was created with the intent to create a male organization to help promote Professional Development, Self-Esteem, Scholarship, and Activism.
Miles King, an education major at Old Dominion University, cherished the same ideals as the organization and sought out to charter the organization “King In You” at ODU. With help from Sebastian Stovall, King In You was chartered at Old Dominion University on February 27th, 2024.
